Sol's Pithy Pointer:

Sol Wise Welcomes You Today!

Sometimes in life we lose our way,
become discouraged or depressed,
and feel life has treated us unfairly.

It is as times like this that we can and must reach out to the God who loves human beings, because from Him comes our help, our renewed hope and our way up.

On this web site, Sol Wise provides scripture-prayer each day. Scripture-prayer is prayer that is based on what God has said, so we can be sure that He will hear us when we pray.

Enjoy praying today's prayer:

TEACH ME TO ASK

Ye have not, because ye ask not.
James 4:2.
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Matthew 7:7,8.
This is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: and if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
1 John 5:14,15

Prayer:
Father,
today I come to You to ask for all that I need. And You even know the things that I need that I have no knowledge of. I ask that You grant me those things also.
Teach me today too
how to ask and what I should ask for;
teach me how to seek You with all my heart, so that I find You in all Your fullness;
teach me what it means to knock, and where to knock so that I will find Your purpose for my life.

Lord, I really need you to teach me how to ask You for what is within Your will for me. Teach me Your principles and precepts, so that I can ask for things that You will have joy in granting me.

Lord, I receive with gladness the answer to every prayer for which I need the answer today.
Thank You, Lord Holy Spirit for opening the eyes of my understanding today.
I pray all this in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ,
Through whom I have access to You, Father,
Amen.
