TEACH ME TO ASK Ye have not, because ye ask not. James 4:2. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Matthew 7:7,8. This is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: and if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. 1 John 5:14,15 Prayer: Father, today I come to You to ask for all that I need. And You even know the things that I need that I have no knowledge of. I ask that You grant me those things also. Teach me today too how to ask and what I should ask for; teach me how to seek You with all my heart, so that I find You in all Your fullness; teach me what it means to knock, and where to knock so that I will find Your purpose for my life. Lord, I really need you to teach me how to ask You for what is within Your will for me. Teach me Your principles and precepts, so that I can ask for things that You will have joy in granting me. Lord, I receive with gladness the answer to every prayer for which I need the answer today. Thank You, Lord Holy Spirit for opening the eyes of my understanding today. I pray all this in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Through whom I have access to You, Father, Amen. |
